Our story
Glass Factory is a global initiative committed to making manufacturing transparent.
We investigate the exciting and clandestine world of manufacturing. We find the best factories in the world, showcase their craft, and enable brands everywhere to contact them.
But it wasn't always like this...
Our story began in 2018. William, our founder, set out to build a clothing brand. He had a lot of different designs but couldn't find the right factory to create them. Every factory insisted that they could make William's ideas come to life, but he quickly learned that wasn't the case.
William kept hitting the same wall: factories didn't respond, samples came back wrong, and a complete lack of visibility into who was actually making the products.
So William assembled a stubborn and slightly obsessed team of production and content experts.
We packed our bags, flew across the world, and walked straight into the factories ourselves.
We've visited over 100 factories across Japan, Italy, Portugal, Türkiye, China, India, Colombia, Thailand and beyond.
We filmed the production lines, learned how quality garments are made, interviewed factory owners, and created real relationships with manufacturers who genuinely care about the products they make. We understood the cultural differences between factories in Portugal, India, and China. We know what sustainability really means. And now, we want to share it with the world.
In 2023, Glass Factory was born.
Today, we're the only platform that shows you the actual factories behind some of the world's best fashion brands complete with photos, videos, MOQs, production timelines, and contact buttons so you can reach out directly.
No stock images. No guessing. No gatekeeping.
Whether you're launching your first brand or scaling an established one, Glass Factory is your access point to the global supply chain. And we're just getting started.
We believe the best products come from transparency, communication, and mutual respect between brands and manufacturers. Our goal is to make that the norm, not the exception.
If you're ready to take your production seriously, you're in the right place.
We will not stop until every supply chain is completely transparent.
